International dog show in Sárvár
During the three days, nearly 4000 dogs will be presented in the area of Vadkert Major.
The International Dog Show in Sárvár is one of the biggest dog events in the region, attracting many exhibitors and visitors from home and abroad. During the three days, nearly 4000 dogs will be judged by experts. The 3 winning titles at the show will be the Hungaria Junior Champion and the Hungaria Champion and the Hungaria Veteran Champion.
This year again special attention will be given to Junior handlers, i.e. young handlers. In parallel with the exhibition, a training camp will be organised for them by renowned national and international experts. During the course, the children will learn the theory and practice of the profession. Young people will have the opportunity to learn about the breeds of dogs and try them out.
The promotion of the nine Hungarian dog breeds is also a priority. I would like to introduce the public to these ancient Hungarian breeds.
In the spirit of this, on all three days of the exhibition, between 10 am and 3 pm, children can learn about the 9 Hungarian dog breeds by walking through several stations and solving simple tasks on the Hungarian Dog Breeds Education Trail.
They can meet the breeders and breeders of Hungarian dog breeds in person, get authentic information about the history, characteristics and keeping of the breeds, and have the opportunity to pet the dogs.
